I miss it. It was a great car. I never had any mechanical trouble. It just gave its life for me due to a drunk driver.

2002. I was never the biggest fan of the side stripe but I loved the color. The manual was excellent.

Glad you were ok.. Side note why does the material of the hood look like cardboard? glass fiber? didnt know the SN95s were made that way

If it was a V-6 it would still have the old T-5 transmission. Great trans as long as there isn't big power.

Me too! I got out of the car fast, because I was worried after the hit. The airbag didn't hurt me. The crazy bit is I'd tried to get into the other lane to get around him and he moved into the other lane too. I think the hoods were some sort of composite. All I know is it was stock. I hadn't changed anything on it.

Yep Fiberglass hoods started in '94. I was surprised at it too when I look off my hood blanket on my '95.

It was a V6. There weren't really any power modifications apart from a tiny bit from exhaust. We had a similar era GT at the time which went through a clutch a lot faster (of course I didn't drive that as much as the ex did).

They had fiberglass hoods for a while; there are tons of 4th gens and new edges in a local junkyard and they all have fiberglass hoods.

94-04 were fiberglass hoods, then the 05+ cars are aluminum.

The hood is fiberglass but the trunk is a composite. The trunks started in '99

There's a Terminator specialty shop about 30 minutes down the road. They are tantalizing.

Can I throw out a guess and suggest you are in Virginia?

You got it. I teach in Farmville now though I'm from Amherst.

You must be talking about Hi-End Auto then right? I've heard nothing but great things about that place. I've never bought from them personally but I've heard the owner is a stand up guy.

Yeah I am. I'll probably hit them up after I move to get more garage space. A bunch of my students have dyno/tuning work from there as well as vehicles and all of them seem happy with the results.
